Guest:  Cory Stokes, UEN Instructional Media Specialist

Cory Stokes, an instructional media specialist for the Utah Education Network (UEN), was our guest speaker.  He suggested the following for improving PowerPoint presentations:
• When designing slides, use one idea per slide
• Use the rule of thirds
• No more than five bullets per slide
• No more than seven words per bullet
• Remember, the audience wants it easy to understand
• Do not design a presentation that is also intended to be the handout.  Do a separate handout.
